PFAD 2011-2012

The Annual Principal for a Day (PFAD) event historically hosted by CPS in late October will not take place in 2011.

We plan to revisit this program for next year and create a new experience for the participants and schools that will go beyond the program’s current structure. When information is available, we will let you know.

We thank you for your participation in the program and encourage you to continue supporting your selected school(s) throughout the school year and beyond.

The Office of External Affairs and Partnerships is available to assist with identifying schools to partner with, provide support and facilitation, and offer a full range of partnering options.

PFAD 2010-2011

Thank you for participating in Principal for a Day 2010 and supporting the “Say Yes to CPS!” by making a Commitment Pledge of Support to your school of choice. Our goal this year was to create meaningful, tangible and ongoing relationships between participants and schools. We received pledges with net values ranging from $1M-$1.9M that will be realized at the school level. Your presence and Commitment Pledge of Support demonstrated the importance of education and your dedication to Chicago Public Schools (CPS) and its students.

We hope your Principal for a Day experience will translate into a significant level of engagement and involvement with your school throughout the school year and beyond. The Office of External Affairs and Partnerships is available to provide assistance in further developing your partnership with your school.
